This was the WORST Fairfield I have ever been. The young lady at the desk was very friendly but the room was offal. The furniture was thread bare and filthy. The dehumidifier was so noisy you couldn't run it. The desk chair looked like it had not been cleaned out in years. The shower curtain was a crumbled mess. The curtains were falling off the window. I was so disappointed in this hotel. Marriott should close this one or mandate a renovation.
Rooms were dirty and had to ask multiple times to get the same things corrected. One person with us asked to have sheets changed and they appeared to have remade the bed with the exact same linens. Dirty sheets on beds as if they weren't changed and hair was everywhere, including beds and bathroom. Extremely disappointing for a Marriott chain hotel.
This hotel staff was not very helpful when you need to cancel MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL 48 HOURS AHEAD BECAUSE THERE IS NO GRACE FOR YOU EVEN IF YOU ARE A REWARDS ACCOUNT HOLDER. NOT PLEASED WITH THE STAFF AT ALL AT THIS LOCATION. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MARRIOTT HOTELS BEFORE.
Very Disappointing... Do not spoil your vacation by staying here. There is a reason this hotel has a No Refund Policy!!! Rooms were not very clean, dusty and not vacuumed, the refrigerator did not work properly. After calling the morning of check-in to make sure the pool was heated and ready to use and being assured that it was, it was not usable. Very disappointed kids. Customer Service, the manager, was mostly completely unavailable and unhelpful too.
When I first entered the room smelled like smoke. I let the front attendant know and wanted to be changed to a different room. She said they were booked up but would let management know with a note. Got back after my two night wonderful comped stay at Lauberge. Same problem when I got back same response actually no response!!!!. So make sure you leave them this note when I check out. I'm gonna huff I'm gonna puff (coughs from the smell of smoke)...I'm going to stay somewhere much more accommodating. And the one star was just so it would let me write a review..
