We went to see James Pollard 5 weeks ago. We waited 1 hour after our appointment time for a surgery consultation regarding impacted wisdom teeth. The consultation lasted 5 minutes and we set a date for the extraction. We arrive for the extraction today and were told that he would not do the extraction because it is too risky and because we are moving in a few weeks.
He is an embarrassment to the universities that he attended and the Navy. I only wish I could give him lower than 1 star because he deserves a -5/5.

This is unprofessional and incompetent. My girlfriend has been in pain for weeks now and that pain is now extended for longer because of James Pollard's incompetence and unprofessionalism.
I am not upset that he decided not to do the extraction - that's his choice. I am extremely disappointed that he didn't realize that the surgery was too much for him 5 weeks ago during the consultation. He had the panoramic dental X-ray in his hands during the consultation and we were planning to move then as well on the same timeline. Nothing changed during the 5 weeks of waiting for the surgery. We would have found another oral surgeon if we knew this during the consult.
